Alexander Lloyd Blake is an accomplished musician and educator currently serving as the Executive and Founding Artistic Director at Tonality since June 2016. In addition to this role, Alexander is the Principal Associate Conductor for the National Children's Chorus and works as a Professional Singer and Vocal Contractor for SAG-AFTRA. At the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, Alexander has been the Choral Director, leading the Vocal Ensemble and Advanced Choir since August 2017. Previous experience includes serving as Opera Camp Chorusmaster at LA Opera and Choral Music Faculty at North Carolina Governor's School. Alexander holds a Doctorate of Musical Arts in Choral Music from the University of Southern California, a Master's degree in Choral Conducting from UCLA, and a Bachelor of Arts in Voice and Opera from Wake Forest University.
