Bernard Keogh began their work experience in 1990 at William Fry, where they held various roles until 1998. In 1999, they became the General Counsel at the Commission for Communications Regulation. Bernard then joined Global Crossing in 2000 as an Assistant General Counsel and later became the General Counsel for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa until 2011. From 2012 to 2013, they served as the VP Commercial at Level 3 Communications. In 2016, they worked as the General Counsel at enet (Open Access Networks) until 2018. Bernard Keogh joined Nuritas in 2018, serving as the General Counsel until 2020 and is currently an Advisor. In 2020, they became the Chief Administration and Development Officer at National Broadband Ireland. Additionally, they have been a Director at BWK Consulting since 2013.
Bernard Keogh has a diverse educational background. In 1985 to 1988, they attended the National University of Ireland, Dublin, where they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (BComm) degree. Following this, from 1988 to 1989, they studied at Technological University Dublin, where they obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree. In 1990 to 1993, Bernard attended the Law Society of Ireland, where they pursued their studies and became a Solicitor. Continuing their education, from 2013 to 2014, they attended UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, earning a Diploma in Corporate Governance. Lastly, in 2009, Bernard Keogh participated in the High Potentials Leadership Programme at Harvard Business School.
