Milan Aleksic has work experience as the Head of Division at NBS since January 2013, and as the Head of Unit at NBS from June 2011 to December 2012. Prior to that, Milan worked as a Stagiaire atipique at the European Commission from April 2009 to October 2009, focusing on economies of candidate and potential candidate countries and financial stability issues.

Milan Aleksic received a Diploma in Finance, Banking, and Insurance from the University of Belgrade, where they studied from 1998 to 2003. Milan later pursued a Master of Philosophy degree in Monetary and Macroeconomic Management at the University of Belgrade from 2006 to 2016. Additionally, Milan briefly attended the University of Oxford in 2007, focusing on the field of Monetary policy.
