Naveed Aslam is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in compliance and risk management within the banking sector. Currently serving as the Divisional Head of Compliance Risk & PMO at National Bank of Pakistan since September 2021, Naveed oversees compliance risk and leads transformation projects to enhance compliance culture. Prior to this role, experiences at HBL - Habib Bank Limited included positions as Head of Governance for Branch Banking, Head of Business Risk Compliance & Control for COO Functions, and Head of Branch Operations for International. Naveed also held significant roles at Deutsche Bank, where responsibilities encompassed managing operations and internal audit functions, as well as risk assessments. Early career experience includes a position as Unit Head of Management/IT/IS Audit at MCB Bank Limited. Educational qualifications include an ACA in Accounting and Finance from the Institute of Chartered Accountants and a Bachelors of Commerce from Karachi University.
