Melissa Benner serves as the Director of Donor Engagement at the National Arts Centre as of October 2024. Previously, Melissa held the position of Director of Communications at Community Food Centres Canada from May 2020 to September 2024, focusing on enhancing the organization's brand in food security and social justice. Other notable roles include Manager of Integrated Content Strategy at Covenant House Toronto, Communications Director at EcoSchools Canada, and Communications Manager at North York Harvest Food Bank. Melissa's experience spans various organizations where responsibilities involved leading communication strategies, overseeing content creation, and engaging communities. Melissa holds a Master’s degree in Communications from Carleton University and a Bachelor’s degree in English and Philosophy from Wilfrid Laurier University.
