Carlos Raúl Sarnelli is an experienced airline captain with a diverse background in aviation. Currently serving as an Airline Captain on the Boeing B747 for National Airlines since October 2023, Carlos previously held the same title for Global Crossing Airlines on the Airbus A320 and Avelo Airlines on the Boeing B737. Carlos's extensive career began in 1996, with significant roles at Etihad, where responsibilities included dual commands on the Boeing B777 and B787, and at Qatar Airways as a First Officer on the Boeing B777. Additional experience includes First Officer positions at US Airways, Ryan International Airlines, and PSA Airlines, as well as initial roles at Envoy Air and Tol Air Services. Carlos earned a degree from the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico-Bayamon from 1991 to 1996.
