Loretta Parham serves as the CEO and Director of the Robert W. Woodruff Library at the Atlanta University Center, a role held since 2005 that involves overseeing library services for 10,000 students and faculty from four historically Black colleges and universities. Parham is also a volunteer for the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine's Roundtable on Aligning Incentives for Open Science since February 2019. Previous leadership positions include board trustee at OCLC, where Parham played a significant role in governance changes, and board member for ACRL. As co-founder and board president of HBCU Library Alliance Inc., and director at Hampton University, Parham has a strong history of library service and administration, supported by a Master of Library Science from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor’s in Communications from Southern Illinois University.
