Kerry Brenner is a Senior Program Officer at The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, serving in the Board on Science Education since December 2014. In this role, Kerry directs studies including "Call to Action for Science Education: Building Opportunity for the Future" and "Science and Engineering for Grades 6-12: Investigation and Design at the Center." Previously, Kerry held the position of Senior Program Officer in the Board on Life Sciences from 2000 to 2008, directing significant studies such as "BIO2010: Transforming Undergraduate Education for Future Research Biologists" and "Reopening Public Facilities After a Biological Attack: A Decision Making Framework." Kerry holds a PhD in Molecular Biology from Princeton University and a BA in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from Wesleyan University.
