Amanda Staudt is a highly experienced professional in the field of climate science and policy. Currently serving as the Senior Director for Climate Crossroads at The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine since October 2013, Amanda leads an initiative aimed at addressing the climate crisis by leveraging interdisciplinary expertise. Prior to this role, Amanda was the Director of the Board on Atmospheric Sciences and Climate as well as the Polar Research Board at the National Wildlife Federation from March 2007 to September 2013, where significant contributions were made as a Senior Climate Scientist. Education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Science and Engineering and a Doctor of Philosophy in Atmospheric Chemistry, both obtained from Harvard University.
