Joi Washington, SHRM-SCP, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in operations and administration. Currently serving as the Senior Administrative Officer at the National Academy of Medicine since October 2021, Joi has previously held significant roles including Director of Operations and Administration and Senior Operations and Finance Manager at the R Street Institute from November 2015 to October 2021. Earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Administrative Assistant at The Pew Charitable Trusts from April 2013 to October 2015, a Research Assistant at the Institute of Medicine from May 2008 to March 2013, and a Registrar at the National Minority AIDS Council from July 2007 to May 2008. Joi holds a Bachelor of Science in Community and Public Health from the University of Maryland and has further education from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
