Farida Ahmed, MHS, currently serves as an Associate Program Officer at the National Academy of Medicine since June 2022. Previously, Ahmed worked as an Emergency Medical Technician at Richmond County Ambulance from January 2018 to July 2021, and held the position of Health Homes Care Coordinator at NADAP from June 2019 to May 2021. Additional experience includes a Research Trainee role at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health, focused on air pollution and cardiovascular disease, and multiple positions as an Emergency Medical Technician and Health Educator. Ahmed's academic background includes a Master of Health Science in Environmental/Environmental Health Engineering from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
