Gichelle Cruz is a seasoned Gender and Social Inclusion Specialist currently at Nathan Associates since August 2021 and a member of the Philippine Commission on Women-National Gender Resource Pool Program since 2015, contributing to Gender and Development efforts across government agencies and local entities. Previous experience includes serving as a Gender Specialist at Banyan Global, where Gichelle focused on mainstreaming gender in program operations and training, and as an Associate Researcher at the University of Southern Denmark, researching safety disparities among seafarers. Additional roles include Program Adviser for the Filipino Deaf Women Health and Crisis Center, University Extension Specialist at the University of the Philippines, Senior Lecturer on gender-related topics, and various positions promoting psychosocial rehabilitation for displaced persons. Gichelle holds an MA in Women and Development Studies and a BA in Journalism from the University of the Philippines.
