Trupti Kawli is a seasoned researcher with extensive experience in genomics and molecular biology. Currently serving as Senior Director of Research at Natera since May 2020, Trupti has previously held positions such as Senior Principal Scientist and Principal Scientist. Prior to Natera, Trupti worked at Karius, Inc. as a Scientist from August 2015 to May 2020 and contributed to significant research at Stanford University School of Medicine from May 2011 to May 2015, where involvement in the ENCODE project included managing the Production Center for Global Mapping of Regulatory Elements in the Human Genome. Earlier research engagements at Stanford included genetic and biochemical analyses of insulin signaling pathways and the molecular dissection of immune responses in Caenorhabditis elegans. Trupti holds a Ph.D. in Developmental Biology and Genetics from the Indian Institute of Science and a Masterās degree in Microbiology from Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda.
