Maciej ChrabÄ…szcz is a seasoned professional in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning, currently serving as a Senior NLP Safety Specialist at NASK since May 2024. Maciej has contributed significantly to various organizations, including roles as a researcher at MI2DataLab, focusing on neural networks for lung disease classification and transformer-based models for X-ray analysis. Previous positions include AI Engineer at Sages, where Maciej developed automatic image caption generation tools for visually impaired individuals, and Machine Learning Engineer at the Institute of Computer Science, Polish Academy of Sciences, specializing in caption generation from images. Maciej also held leadership roles as President and Board Member of the Artificial Intelligence Society Golem and has experience as a Data Scientist and NLP Intern. Academically, Maciej is pursuing a PhD in Computer Science at Warsaw University of Technology, holding a Master's degree in Mathematical Statistics and Data Analysis and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics.
