James Nix is an experienced web developer currently serving as a Senior Web Developer at Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp since January 2015, with prior experience as an Interactive Web Developer. James began the career with a role as a student at Nashville Software School in 2014 and has held significant editorial positions, including Managing Editor and Court Reporter at The City Paper from March 2010 to August 2013, as well as Reporter/Staff Writer at GCA News from October 2006 to February 2010. James also worked as a Proofreader and Independent Contractor for The Bates Corporation from 2005 to 2007 and again in 2009, focusing on proofreading various versions of The Bible. Academically, James holds a B.S. in Journalism from Middle Tennessee State University and graduated from David Lipscomb High School.
