Thomas Stepan is an experienced educator with a strong background in social studies instruction. Currently serving as an 8th Grade Social Studies Teacher at Merrimack School District since May 2012, Thomas covers topics from the pre-Revolutionary War to the early 20th century using diverse teaching methods. Additionally, Thomas has worked as a substitute teacher in various capacities since January 2004, developing classroom management and time management skills. Other notable positions include coaching track and field at Fairgrounds Middle School and undertaking several long-term substitute assignments across different grade levels and subjects. Thomas holds a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction and multiple Bachelor's degrees in Secondary Education and History from the University of Rhode Island.
