Susan George

Chief People Officer at Nasdaq Private Market

Susan George has over two decades of experience in human resources. Susan began their career in 1998 as the Head of HR at The Reserve Funds. In 2001, they moved to McGraw Hill Financial as an HR Manager. From 2004 to 2020, they worked at S&P Dow Jones Indices, where they held various roles, including Vice President- HR, Sr. Director - Human Resources, and Director - Human Resources. In 2020, they became a Human Resources Consultant and in 2021, they were appointed Chief People Officer at Nasdaq Private Market. Throughout their career, Susan has provided full-spectrum human resources expertise, including organizational effectiveness, talent management, employee relations, and employee engagement. Susan has also led due diligence for multiple key acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and co-branded relationships. Additionally, they have built key organizational capabilities, partnered with talent, compensation, L&D, and other COEs on scalable solutions, and designed and launched New Manager training, High-Potential and Emerging Talent programs, and New Hire onboarding.

Susan George has a Masters of Science in HR Management from Baruch College and a Bachelor of Arts in English & Communication from Rutgers University. Susan has also obtained several certifications from organizations such as Human Resources Academy, USF Corporate Training and Professional Education, and LinkedIn.
