Sam Khan has worked in the software engineering industry since 2010. In 2010, they worked as a Software Consultant for One Kings Lane, where they designed and developed new functionality for their e-commerce website. Sam then worked as a Senior Software Engineer for Carbonflow, Inc., where they applied web technology to speed the creation and trading of carbon credits. In 2011, they worked as a Senior Full Stack Developer / UI Architect for Construcs, a SAAS platform allowing construction projects to be tracked and updated by relevant parties. In 2012, they worked as a Team Lead / Full Stack Developer for Social Chorus, a workforce communications platform. In 2013, they worked as Head of Engineering / Architect / Lead Full Stack Developer for Higher Circle, a transparent funding platform. In 2014, they worked as CTO / Full Stack Developer for Boardspan Inc., a SAAS platform providing a data-driven approach to help public, private and non-profit boards become more effective. In 2017, they worked as VP of Technology / Platform Architect / Full Stack Developer for Roostify, a digital lending platform. In 2020, they worked as VP of Engineering / Chief Architect / Server Side Developer / DevOps for SoLo Funds, a community (P2P) marketplace. In 2021, they worked as Owner for SKMC Software LLC, providing startups with transformative services, engineering and otherwise. In 2022, they are currently working as a Software Architect for Nasdaq Private Market, contributing toward the architecture & development of a business critical RESTful API project.

Sam Khan attended the University of Portsmouth, where they earned a B.Sc in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
