Venkat Pasnoor is a highly experienced Principal Software Engineer at Nasdaq, where tenure began in 2000, encompassing roles as a Lead Programmer Analyst and Lead Software Engineer. Responsibilities include analyzing business requirements to develop functional specifications and providing application estimations to management. Venkat has led teams through all phases of development for consolidated data quote and trade feeds using C++ and MS SQL databases, and has developed web-based monitoring and administration tools with ASP. Prior to Nasdaq, Venkat worked at Fleet Boston Bank from March 1996 to August 2000 as part of a team focused on migrating Base24 ATM and POS systems using TAL and Non-Stop SQL databases. Venkat holds a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics from Osmania University, obtained between 1984 and 1986.
