Kadek Ratih Dwi Oktarini is a Senior Assistant Manager for the Academic division at the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Nanyang Technological University Singapore, a position held since August 2021. Previously, Kadek served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Nanyang Technological University from September 2019 to May 2021 and worked as an English Lecturer and researcher in the Tourism Department at Bali State Polytechnic from 2006 to May 2019. During that time, Kadek also acted as Secretary of the International Office, managing various international affairs. Kadek's academic journey includes earning a Ph.D. in Linguistics and Multilingual Studies from Nanyang Technological University (2011-2017), a Master's degree in Applied Linguistics from The University of Newcastle (2008-2010), and a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from Universitas Udayana (2001-2005). In addition, Kadek taught Indonesian for Speakers of Other Languages through the Darmasiswa program at Bali State Polytechnic from 2007 to 2008.
