Aw Beng Teck currently serves as the Senior Assistant Director for Careers & Global Experience at Nanyang Technological University Singapore since December 2023. Prior experience includes a role as Director of Regional Marketing & Communications at NEC Asia Pacific Pte Ltd from April 2020 to March 2023, and Director of Global Marketing at NEC Public Safety from April 2013 to April 2020. Additionally, Aw Beng Teck held the position of Marketing Director at NEC Asia Pacific Pte Ltd from March 2011 to April 2013 and was a Director at the NUS Business School from April 2003 to March 2011, concentrating on alumni relations, corporate communications, branding, fundraising, and philanthropy. Earlier roles include Editor at the East Asian Institute from December 1999 to April 2003, focusing on China's political economy, and a journalist covering environmental and natural resources industries from February 1996 to January 1999. Aw Beng Teck holds a Master of Arts in English Language from the National University of Singapore and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Linguistics from Victoria University of Wellington.
