Stephen McVarnock has a diverse work experience in software development and product management. Stephen started their career in 1997 as a Senior Software Developer at BT, where they worked on billing and customer care software. Stephen then joined AePONA as a Senior Software Developer and Technical Consultant, supporting and implementing IN services for SONOFON in Denmark.
In 2001, Stephen worked as a Technical Consultant at IPSE Communications Ltd, supporting the IAC product for Hewlett Packard. Stephen then moved to Allstate Northern Ireland as a Senior Software Developer in 2003.
Stephen returned to AePONA in 2005, taking on the roles of Senior Software Engineer and Product Maintenance Manager/Engineering Manager. Stephen managed development teams and contributed to the development of the Universal Services Platform/API Monetization Platform.
In 2013, Stephen joined Intel Corporation as a Product Maintenance Manager/Engineering Manager, overseeing the maintenance and development of the Universal Services Platform/API Monetization Platform after its acquisition.
Stephen's next role was at NaviNet in 2013 as a Platform Product Manager, responsible for gathering platform needs and managing the roadmap and requirements backlog for the NaivNet Open platform product.
Currently, Stephen is working at NantHealth as the Lead Product Manager, where they are responsible for guiding the product strategy and managing the development of healthcare products.
Stephen McVarnock attended Rathmore Grammar from 1986 to 1993. Stephen then pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computing and Information Systems from Ulster University from 1993 to 1997.
