Paul Cook has worked in a variety of engineering and design roles since 1983. Paul began their career as a Time Served Sheet Metal Worker and Welder at Fleetwood Sheetmetal Company. Paul then completed a Full Time Cad/Cam Design Course at Blackpool College of Further and Higher Education. From 1989 to 1993, Paul worked as a Designer at Hebron and Medlock, followed by a role as a Mechanical/Ventilation Design Engineer at British Nuclear Fuels from 1993 to 1999. From 1999 to 2003, they held the role of Catia Designer at Mayflower Technical Services, followed by Lead Engineer and Catia Designer at Assystem from 2003 to 2007. From 2007 to 2013, Paul worked as a Design Engineer at The Linde Group, followed by Mechanical Design Manager at Addison Projects and Design & Engineering Director at 4 Navitas (Green Energy Solutions) Ltd. Most recently, they have held the roles of Principal Mechanical Engineer, Senior Project Manager, and Engineering Design Manager at NanoSUN since 2019.

Paul Cook graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from The Open University in 2021, having studied there from 2012.
