Evans Nguyen is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience spanning over two decades in various leadership roles. Currently serving as Director of Development Engineering at NanoString Technologies, Inc. since September 2019, Evans previously held the position of Associate Director, Sustaining Engineering. At Zetec, from 2014 to September 2019, Evans was Senior Manager of Product Development and Operations Engineering and also served as Operations Engineering Manager focusing on robotics and test equipment for nuclear and heavy industries. Prior experience includes roles at Milwaukee Tool as Engineering Director, Engineering Manager & Senior Project Leader, where responsibilities included directing New Product Development for the Test and Measurement Division, and positions at Fluke Corporation and Boeing as Project Manager, Senior Manufacturing Engineer, and Senior Design Engineer respectively. Evans holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington and has studied Biology at Harvard University.
