Jose Morachis is a seasoned professional in the life sciences and biotechnology sectors, serving as Co-founder and Managing Partner at Phase Two Ventures since January 2023. As CTO (fractional) at Lynx Biosciences, Inc. since January 2021, Jose is involved in advanced multiplexed technologies for cancer characterization. Jose also holds positions as Board Member and Co-founder/Chairperson of Defined Bioscience and has been an Advisor and Founder at NanoCellect Biomedical, Inc. since its inception. Additionally, Jose founded ScholarNexus LLC, a tech incubator and consulting firm, and previously worked as a Research Scientist at the University of California San Diego and a Clinical Consultant at SweetSpot Diabetes Care. With a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from UC San Diego, Jose's expertise includes nanotechnology and cellular analysis.
