Paul Donaldson has over 35 years of work experience in the banking industry. Paul began their career at Bank of America, where they served as a Vice President and team leader for the Los Angeles Corporate Banking team. Paul was recognized as a top new business producer for five consecutive years. Paul then joined First Interstate Bank as a Vice President and managed the bank's largest office in the United States. During their tenure, they oversaw commercial lending, business development, and underwriting for the 13 San Gabriel Valley offices. Paul achieved an average of 30% deposit and loan growth over six years and led the California Chinese Segment state-wide revenue initiative.
After leaving First Interstate Bank, Paul joined Manufactures Bank as a Senior Vice President, where they oversaw bank-wide deposit, investment, and cash management services. Paul secured over $100 million in new core deposit growth and led several top management special projects resulting in significant bottom-line improvement.
Paul then moved to California Bank & Trust, where they served as a Senior Vice President and Los Angeles and Orange County Region Manager. Paul successfully launched a highly profitable office in Downtown Los Angeles and ultimately oversaw 26 offices in the region.
In 2008, Paul joined Western Alliance Bank as an Executive Vice President and Los Angeles Division Manager. Paul built and managed a new division, establishing two de novo offices in Downtown Los Angeles and Beverly Hills. Paul solicited an attractive loan portfolio and deposit base, generating $7 million in annual pre-tax profit.
From 2015 to 2018, Paul worked at Citizens Business Bank as a Senior Vice President and Los Angeles Commercial Center Banking Manager. Paul launched the bank's Downtown Los Angeles Commercial Banking Center and quickly developed a client portfolio earning over $1 million in annual pre-tax profit. Paul spearheaded business development efforts through active networking and calling on their extensive network of contacts.
Currently, Paul is serving as the Executive Vice President at Nano Banc, where they are leveraging technology and providing white glove service to deliver banking innovations for clients and model communities.
Paul Donaldson has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Corporate Finance and Banking from Brigham Young University. Paul also holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics and Asian Studies from the same institution.
