Dr. Maristella Lucchini is a Senior Clinical Researcher at Nanit since September 2022, drawing from extensive experience in clinical research and biomedical engineering. Previously, Dr. Lucchini served as an Associate Research Scientist and Postdoctoral Research Scientist at Columbia University Irving Medical Center from December 2018 to October 2022, focusing on maternal sleep health and its implications for maternal mortality in the US. Additional experience includes a YIRF Trainee position at the AASM Foundation and a PhD in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, where the thesis centered on autonomic and cardiorespiratory control in newborns at risk for Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.
