Steffen Ruefer is a seasoned data science professional with extensive experience in the health tech and oil and gas industries. Currently serving as Principal Data Science Consultant and Director of Data Science at Naluri since August 2019, Steffen has been instrumental in leading AI innovations and fostering a data-driven culture focused on improving health outcomes in South-East Asia. Previous roles include Founder of TradingXplained.com and Independent Data Science Consultant, where Steffen applied expertise in predictive analytics and machine learning across various domains. Earlier career experience includes multiple operations and sales roles at Schlumberger from February 2001 to January 2016. Steffen holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Munich and a Diploma in Petroleum Engineering from Heriot-Watt University.
