Syed S. Arfin, FCCA, CFA, currently serves as the Head of Department - Financing and Treasury at Qatar Gas Transport Company (NAKILAT), overseeing finances of nearly US$10 billion and US$7 billion in derivatives since February 2010. Prior experience includes positions as a Financial Analyst at Oman Development Company SOAC, where financial models for construction projects were developed, and a Senior Auditor/Management Consultant at Grant Thornton, a leading global professional services firm. Syed S. Arfin holds a Master's Degree in ALM Finance from Harvard University and an Executive Education certificate in Strategic Leadership Development from Georgetown University, along with ACCA membership and a B.Sc. Honours in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University.
