Steve McKinzie is an experienced software engineering professional currently serving as the Manager of Software Engineering at the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) since July 2018. Prior to this role, Steve held various positions including IT Manager at UMB, where responsibilities included managing IBM BPM development and overseeing the development of entitlement and onboarding systems. Steve has also served as Software Development Manager at DST Retirement Solutions and DST Insurance Solutions, focusing on enhancing application suites and leading teams through software development lifecycles. Early career experiences include roles at SOURCECORP, Sprint PCS, and AT&T, where Steve developed applications using a variety of technologies. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Truman State University.
