Amy Karnes has a diverse work experience in marketing and business development. Amy started their career as a Marketing Coordinator at McDonald, Cassell & Bassett in 2010, where they managed proposals and created collateral. In 2011, they joined Malcolm Pirnie as a Marketing and Proposal Manager, leading the proposal process and developing content. Amy then worked at WSA Studio from 2013 to 2016, initially as a Marketing and Business Development Manager and later as a Marketing and Business Development Director. Amy was responsible for branding, sales goals, and proposal writing, receiving multiple awards for their work. Amy then joined NAI Ohio Equities in 2016 as a Marketing Director, where they managed a team, developed marketing plans, and collaborated on corporate communications. In 2020, they started their own marketing consultancy called Little Boxes Marketing, specializing in strategy, design, and branding for professional services firms. Most recently, Amy served as the Director of Marketing at Marker, Inc. in 2021, supervising a team and driving marketing initiatives.
Amy Karnes holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from The Ohio State University. Amy obtained a Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) certification from the Society of Marketing Professional Services in May 2009. In addition, they have also completed the Fundamentals of Digital Marketing course offered by Google, although the specific time of completion is not provided.
