Dr. Rodriguez-Fernandez is a Cordon Bleu trained chef and Doctor of Medicine currently serving as the Global Medical Director of Non-Communicable Disease (NCDs) and Workplace Wellness for International SOS based in London, UK. He functions as Chairman of the Board of the NCD Asia Pacific Alliance. Dr Rodriguez-Fernandez currently acts as Chief Medical Advisor to a number of large blue chip organizations and Governments on health & well-being strategy, integrated models of health care delivery, non-communicable disease prevention and global health policy development. He is also a Senior Lecturer at the University of Manchester.
Dr. Rodriguez-Fernandez regularly appears in television and media outlets such as the Financial Times and The Economist providing expert advise on various health and wellbeing related topics and updates.
Prior to his current role he served as an advisor to WHO, USAID, the World Bank, the European Commission, as well as Ministries of Health in Latin America, Africa, Europe, Central Asia and South- East Asia in the areas of health system strengthening and disease prevention.
