Jaime E. Duarte's work experience includes several roles in various companies. Jaime E. co-founded MyoSwiss AG in 2017 and served as a Co-Founder. Prior to that, they worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at ETH Zurich starting in 2015. From 2013 to 2016, they were a Co-Founder at Beacon Assisted Technologies LLC. Jaime E. also worked at UC Irvine as a Postdoctoral Researcher from 2014 to 2015, and as a Graduate Student from 2009 to 2014. Additionally, they were a Graduate Researcher at UC Irvine in 2009. Jaime also has experience as a Soccer coach at Valley Christian Schools from 2011 to 2012. Their earlier experience includes being a Student Researcher at UFRJ in 2009, an Undergraduate Student at University of Central Florida from 2004 to 2009, a Student Researcher at UC San Diego in 2008, an Engineering Intern at Siemens Power Engineering Pvt. Ltd. from 2007 to 2008, and an Engineering Intern at GE Power & Water in 2007.

Jaime E. Duarte's education history starts in 2004 when they enrolled in the University of Central Florida for their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. Jaime E. completed this degree in 2009. In the same year, they then pursued their Master's of Science in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at UC Irvine, which they finished in 2011. Jaime E. Duarte continued their academic journey at UC Irvine and obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering in 2014.
