Bert Coessens is an accomplished biopharmaceutical executive currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at myNEO Therapeutics since November 2020, where the focus is on developing innovative immunotherapies for cancer treatment. Coessens also operates Perifora, specializing in 'as-a-service' business models for secure and compliant product roll-outs in medical devices and data protection. With a robust background in software development and bioinformatics, Coessens held key roles at Agilent Technologies, including Software R&D Director and Manager for DGG-Genomics, and was a co-founder of Cartagenia, where significant advancements were made in software R&D and medical device quality management. Education includes a PhD in Bioinformatics and a degree in Bio-engineering, Molecular Biotechnology, both from KU Leuven.
