Marcy Carty, MD MPH, has extensive work experience in healthcare leadership and transformation. Marcy is currently the President and Chief Medical Officer at myLaurel, a company that provides high-acuity, high-complexity care in patients' homes. Marcy is responsible for implementing a unique Rapid Advanced Care model tailored to the needs of frail and complex patients. Prior to this, they were a Founding Member and Chief at Chief, a private network that aims to empower women leaders. Marcy has also served as the President & Chief Medical Officer (CMO) at Ready and as the Assoc. Chief Health Officer at Cityblock Health, where they focused on addressing the root causes of health for underserved urban populations. Earlier in their career, Marcy held leadership positions at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, Evolent Health, Steward Good Samaritan Medical Center, and Brigham and Women's Hospital. Marcy has a strong background in driving change, innovation, and improved outcomes in the healthcare industry. Marcy's expertise includes value-based care, strategic planning, physician compensation, governance, and clinical operations improvement. Marcy completed a mid-career fellowship in palliative care at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and a residency in Internal Medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital.
Marcy Carty, MD MPH, obtained an A.B. degree in Experimental Psychology from Harvard University, with the start and end years unknown. Following this, they attended Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, completing their MD degree in an undisclosed period. Later, from 2002 to 2005, they pursued their Brigham and Women's Hospital Internal Medicine Residency at Harvard Medical School.
