Ryan Sumner has a diverse background in marketing and communications. Ryan began their career in 2015 as a Professional Writing Consultant and Peer Writing Tutor at Azusa Pacific University. In 2017, they became a Graduate Writing Consultant at Boston University, where they co-led the development of a dedicated digital resource hub. In 2018, they held internships at Massachusetts General Hospital and athenahealth, where they led development of updated best practices for Mass General's organic social media campaigns and co-produced season two of athenahealth's flagship podcast. From 2019 to 2021, they worked at New Engen, Inc. as a Senior Associate and then Marketing Manager, Partnerships & Programs. During their time there, they managed a portfolio of clients and oversaw more than $2.5 million in annual media spend. Ryan is currently a Product Marketing Manager at MyHealthTeam, where they are responsible for project-managing strategic marketing initiatives.
Ryan Sumner received a Master of Arts in Theological Studies from Boston University and a Bachelor of Arts in Theology from Azusa Pacific University.
