Ioannis (John) Pongas is an experienced technology professional, currently serving as the DevOps Tech Lead at MYER since March 2016. Previously, Ioannis held positions as a Senior Developer at Austco from August 2012 to February 2016 and as a Software Developer at Propertykey Pty Ltd / Flixsmart Pty Ltd for a brief period in 2012. Ioannis also contributed to European research projects as a Research Associate at the University of Athens from March 2010 to March 2012, where a distributed execution engine for BPEL processes was developed. Earlier roles include iPhone Software Developer at Sinartia/Alesman and Course Assistant at the University of Athens' Department of Informatics and Telecommunications. Ioannis holds an M.Sc. in Information Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Informatics and Telecommunications, both from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon.
