Carmen Zech has extensive experience in marketing and digital strategy. Carmen was the Senior Marketing Executive at Aspire, responsible for developing marketing strategies for the APAC region and assisting in digital marketing budgeting. Carmen led the marketing strategy for the NINDYAA's Kickstarter campaign and exceeded the fundraising goal. Carmen also worked as an intercultural trainer and language teacher for self-employed clients like Jungheinrich and Becker Marine Systems. Carmen has experience as a Co-Director of Cooking with Mama Germany, Head of Marketing and Media for 88tc88/Paishouba, and Media Manager for Citizens of Europe e.V. Additionally, they worked as an editor for the Brain Section of the European online lifestyle magazine Europe&Me. Carmen started their career as an editorial intern at The First Pint and worked as a freelance Culture Sub-Editor for MouthLondon Magazine. Currently, Carmen is working as an English Content Lead for MWI.
Carmen Zech has a Master of Arts degree in International Journalism (Print & Online) from City University of London, which they obtained from 2010 to 2011. Prior to this, they earned a BA in Integrated Social Sciences from Jacobs University Bremen, Germany between 2007 and 2010. In 2009, they studied Media, Journalism, and Advertising at Washington State University in the USA. Carmen's international education began with the acquisition of an International Baccalaureate (Bilingual) Diploma from the United World College of the Atlantic in Wales from 2005 to 2007.
