Brandon Nutting has a strong background in academia and data science. Brandon held various roles at MVP, including Vice President of Product Strategy and Data Science, Vice President of Data Science and Innovation, and Director of Data Science and Advanced Analytics. Brandon also worked as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and as an Assistant Professor of Advertising/Public Relations at both the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and The University of South Dakota. Prior to their academic career, Brandon served as a Graduate Part-time Instructor at Texas Tech University and worked in advertising at AM 580 KRFE Lubbock. Brandon began their professional journey as a CS&E Help Desk Operator at The Ohio State University.

Brandon Nutting has a comprehensive education history. Brandon obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Strategic Communication from The Ohio State University, starting in 2002 and completing in 2007. Following this, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Mass Communications and Media Psychology at Texas Tech University from 2007 to 2009.

Continuing their academic journey, Brandon Nutting enrolled in Texas Tech University once again, this time embarking on a Ph.D. program in Mass Communications. Their Ph.D. focused on Social Psychology, specifically delving into media with an emphasis on media. Brandon completed their Ph.D. studies in 2012.

In later years, Brandon Nutting pursued a Master of Science degree in Business Analytics at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, starting in 2019 and completing in 2021.

In addition to their formal education, Brandon Nutting obtained certifications to enhance their professional skills and knowledge. In 2014, they obtained a Google AdWords certification from Google Ads. Additionally, they earned a Hootsuite Platform Certification from Hootsuite in October 2016.
