Ed Buffum currently serves as Vice President of Mortgage Lending at Mutual of Omaha Mortgage since December 2018. Previously, Ed held the position of Senior Mortgage Banker at BBMC Mortgage from June 2014 to December 2018 and worked as a Senior Mortgage Banker at Bank of Manhattan N.A. for a brief period in 2014. Prior experience includes a Sales Manager role at Right Start Mortgage from August 2009 to December 2013, Loan Officer at American Premier Funding from March 2008 to August 2009, and Vice President of Operations at EBK Consulting from September 2005 to December 2008. Ed also served as Branch Manager at Ameriquest Mortgage from January 2003 to September 2005. Ed holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Financial Management Services from Cal State University San Marcos, attended San Diego State University, and graduated from SMHS.
