Lea Gommans has extensive experience in systemic therapy and training, having worked at Mutsaersstichting since June 1982 in various roles including Systeemtherapeut, supervisor, trainer, and educator specializing in systemic interventions and domestic violence. Gommans has also served as a lecturer at Hoge School Leeuwarden since 2014, focusing on Intensive Ambulant Family Support. Previous roles include a position as a lecturer at NHL Hogeschool from August 2015 to October 2021 and training groups in systemic work at XONAR between 2011 and 2012. Gommans' educational background includes advanced training in family therapy and systemic therapy from institutions such as AMsterdams Instituut voor Gezins- en relatietherapie and NISTO.
