Ashok Gopalakrishnan has extensive work experience in the finance industry, with a focus on collections and management. Ashok currently holds the position of Head of Collections at Muthoot Housing Finance Company Limited. Prior to this, they worked at AS ASSOCIATES as a white consulting and property service consultant.

Before joining AS ASSOCIATES, Ashok spent seven years at PNB Housing Finance Ltd., where they served as the Zonal Collection Manager for South India and Assistant General Manager. Ashok also worked for three years at Deutsche Postbank Home Finance Limited as the Zonal Collection Manager for South India and Senior Manager.

At Axis Bank, Ashok held the role of Center Manager Collections and Legal at the Retail Asset Center in Bangalore. During their time there, they successfully built collections and legal teams, reducing home loan NPAs by Rs 9 crore. Ashok also worked at HDFC Bank Ltd as the Territory Collections Manager for the Commercial Transport Group and at ICICI Bank Ltd as a Senior Officer.

Ashok started their career at IndusInd Bank as a Junior Executive Trainee, focusing on sales, collection, legal services, cash management, and proposal evaluation for commercial vehicles and auto loans.

Ashok Gopalakrishnan pursued their Bachelor of Commerce (B COM) degree from Mahatma Gandhi University between 1990 and 1995. Ashok then completed their high school education at MARY MATHA ENGLISH SCHOOL COCHIN from 1983 to 1989. Ashok also obtained a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree with a specialization in Social Work from Indira Gandhi National Open University, although the specific dates of their study remain unknown. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in various areas such as leadership, communication, and personal effectiveness from institutions like PNB Housing Finance Limited, Ken Blanchard Companies, and ICICI BANK.
