Jamie Barmes currently serves as the Human Resources Employment Manager at Muskegon Community College, a position held since April 2023, after previously holding the role of Human Resources Employment Coordinator. Prior experience includes serving as a Human Resources Specialist at Goodwill Industries of West Michigan, Inc. from November 2018 to April 2023 and as a Staffing Specialist at GoodTemps MI from April 2017 to November 2018. Jamie Barmes also has experience in education as a Substitute Teacher at Hume R-8 School and in administrative roles as Secretary/Treasurer at Hamilton Heights Primary School. Jamie Barmes holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management from Baker College of Muskegon and an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration from Ball State University.
