Coty Lovelady currently serves as a Summer Programs Specialist at Summer Discovery, directing the Summer Pre-College program for 2024 and working as a Client Services Specialist for the University of Michigan. Previous roles include Assistant Director of Stewardship and Donor Relations at Xavier University of Louisiana, College-Career Advisor at Morris Jeff Community School, and Alumni Advisor at KIPP New Orleans. Coty has also held various admissions roles at Birmingham-Southern College, Eastern Oregon University, and the University of West Alabama. Early career experience includes a Hess Fellowship at GLIDE in San Francisco and an education internship at the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute. Coty earned a Bachelor of Arts in Religion, Art, and Leadership Studies from Birmingham-Southern College and holds a High School Diploma in Theatre Arts from the Alabama School of Fine Arts.
