Jonathan Stiles has a diverse work experience in the field of marketing and ballet. Jonathan is currently the Director of Marketing at the Museum of the American Revolution since March 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Interim Director of Marketing at the Kennett Symphony of Chester County from October 2020 to April 2021.
Jonathan also has extensive experience at the Pennsylvania Ballet, where they held various roles. Jonathan was the Associate Director of Marketing from October 2018 to July 2020, and before that, they worked as a Marketing Manager from June 2015 to October 2018. Jonathan initially joined the company as an Artistic Coordinator in September 2014.
Before transitioning to marketing, Jonathan had a successful career as a dancer at the Pennsylvania Ballet from May 1999 to July 2014. Jonathan performed leading roles and collaborated with renowned choreographers. Additionally, they served as a Union Delegate for the American Guild of Musical Artists, negotiating collective bargaining agreements.
Jonathan also acted as the Producing Director for "Shut Up & Dance," a benefit dance concert for MANNA presented by the dancers of the Pennsylvania Ballet from March 2008 to March 2011. Jonathan managed all aspects of the event, which raised significant funds for the organization.
In August 1997, Jonathan worked as a dancer for the Cincinnati Ballet before joining the Pennsylvania Ballet.
Jonathan Stiles attended the University of North Carolina School of the Arts from 1993 to 1997, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Dance. Later, from 2012 to 2013, they pursued a Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Administration at the University of Pennsylvania.
