Michele Courton Brown is currently a trustee at The MFA. Prior to that, they were with Health Resources in Action and Quality Interactions, Inc. Michele also spent four years as the Chief Operating Officer of The Efficacy Institute from September 2009 to July 2013.
Michele has a wealth of experience in leadership and business transformation. At The Efficacy Institute, they directed all aspects of business including administration and board engagement, strategic planning, finance, relationship management and staff development. Michele was also responsible for overseeing business transformation efforts focused on enhancing capabilities, planning, projects and systems.
Under Michele's leadership, The Efficacy Institute saw increased board capacity by presenting relevant and timely industry trends, data and innovative programs. Michele also championed the development and implementation of two new programs that generated 50% in revenues.
Michele Courton Brown has a Master of Science in Health Communication from Boston University and a BA in Economics and Urban Studies from Boston University. Michele also has certification from Tuck Executive Education at Dartmouth in Building a High Performing Business.
