Benjamin Weiss is a distinguished professional in the field of visual culture and curation, currently serving as the Leonard A. Lauder Senior Curator of Visual Culture at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston since July 2005. Weiss has held multiple leadership roles within the museum, including Interim Head of Conservation and Collections Management, Leonard A. Lauder Curator of Visual Culture, Director of Collections, Chair of the Department of Prints, Drawings, and Photographs, and Head of Interpretation. Prior to this, Weiss was the Curator of Rare Books at the Burndy Library from June 1998 to June 2005. An alumnus of Princeton University, Weiss earned a Master of Arts in History, following a Bachelor of Arts in History from Harvard University.
