Leena Furu-Kallio is a seasoned professional in the museum and heritage sector, currently serving as Chief Project Manager at Museovirasto - Finnish Heritage Agency since December 2022, where oversight includes a project involving the cataloguing and relocation of collections, archives, and libraries with a supervisory role over a team of 14-17 members. In addition, Leena has been a Curator at The National Museum of Finland since April 2019, focusing on ethnology and music collections, and possesses expertise in collection management software and digitalization projects. Previous roles include IT Consultant at Suomen museoliitto - Finnish Museums Association and Coordinator at the Finnish Museums Association, focusing on collection management, data migrations, and museum education. Leena's career began as Cataloguing Coordinator at the National Board of Antiquities, contributing greatly to museum standards and training, after which Leena worked as a Researcher at the Espoo City Museum. Leena holds a Bachelor's degree in Ethnology from the University of Helsinki.
