Pamela Hitscherich, PhD, is an R&D Scientist at MTF Biologics since October 2019, where expertise is applied in research and development. Prior experience includes a role as Protocol/Methods Development Engineer at New Jersey Precision Technologies, Inc., where notable contributions involved enhancing quality control procedures and revising Quality Assurance documentation. At the New Jersey Institute of Technology, Pamela served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate, optimizing primary rat pancreatic islets isolation and researching engineered pancreatic tissue viability. Other roles encompassed Graduate Research Assistant, where Pamela developed a myocardial inflammation model and explored electroactive scaffolds for cardiac tissue engineering, as well as Teaching Assistant, providing educational support in engineering and science courses. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering from The College of New Jersey.
