Jamie Birney is a seasoned Senior Software Architect currently at Mursion since August 2024, having previously held the same title at Valor Performance, Inc. from January 2018 to October 2024, contributing significantly from early development to the company's acquisition by Mursion. Jamie's early career includes various roles at Launch Academy, Inc., transitioning from an Apprentice Full-Stack Software Developer to Lead Engineer within five months. Prior to that, Jamie managed a substantial construction contract at the Cambridge Housing Authority and handled multiple low-income housing properties. Experience also includes positions at the Metropolitan Boston Housing Partnership, Kenyon C. Bolton III & Associates Inc., and involvement in technical theater at Swarthmore College and Buck's Rock Performing and Creative Arts Camp. Jamie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music and Art History from Swarthmore College and is pursuing a Master of Divinity at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.
